Hi there, I’m Erin, Mum of two beautiful cherubs, wife, Early Childhood and Primary School teacher and your go to Mum for play based learning ideas and inspiration. When I am not working in the classroom, playing with my early learners, making lunchboxes, organising playspaces or folding laundry, I am here blogging at celebrateplay, the place where I share my obsession with organisation and play, along with my passion for teaching and lifelong learning.
THE BACKGROUND STORY
During December 2016, I was inspired to create some New Year Resolutions (in the form of ONE WORD) for 2017 as most of us are. One of my resolutions was to focus on leading a life with greater INTENTION, which lead to setting the goal of creating intentional play opportunities in the home for my children. After meeting up with some friends and talking about the trials and tribulations that motherhood brings, I began to entertain the thought of creating a place to share my journey of celebrating play and in turn inspire others too. In some short few days of preparation, I created a couple of online pop up groups and began to share my journey. It became a place for parents and educators to find their daily dose of play ideas, organisational tips, handy hints and the motivation to create wonderful play opportunities for the early learners in their lives.
THE PRESENT STORY
Since then, my little online community has evolved with the launch of an official celebrateplay online support group and now a blog and website, with opportunities to guest blog for some amazing business’ along the way.
…so where to next?
THE FUTURE STORY

What our play mates have to say about us…
I have loved being a part of the celebratePLAY community. I love that it’s a smaller group where you can really get a feel for the members but also don’t get “lost in the scrolling”. Erin and infact all the members, share great ideas and inspiration for both play and organisation as a whole.
I’m so happy that i stumbled across celebratePLAY. I just so happened to see celebratePLAY on Facebook and was instantly inspired by all the great ideas and activities listed. I looked further into the celebratePLAY pages and have learnt so much along the way.
